Jealous?

Parker is such a good baby. When he was four weeks and five days old he slept for eight hours. Really he slept about six hours and then he would squeak a little and Joe would give him his binkie. He continued this pattern for the next four weeks other than three night he slept six hours and decided he needed to eat. He is now nine weeks old and sleeps for ten hours straight! The pediatrician asked me if all my friends are jealous.

He is so calm and pleasant. He doesn't cry much. He does get fussy in the evenings and just wants to be held. Since Hayden goes to bed at 7:00 and Joe isn't home I usually just sit and hold him until I am ready to go to bed. He doesn't like to be on his back for more than just a few minutes and therefore he doesn't like his car seat much either. He does seem to be getting better with it though.

Parker is growing big and strong. He has gained almost four pounds since birth. He currently weighs 11 lbs. 6 oz. and is 23" long. He started smiling about two weeks ago. I just love this little guy.

Chocolate Bowls

I have been asked multiple times how to make the chocolate bowls. I watched it on studio 5 and it was really very simple. These are the instructions given on Studio 5.

Instructions:

1. Line a cookie sheet with wax or parchment paper.

2. Melt 10-2 oz of chocolate—milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips work wonderfully.

3. Spoon ½ tsp melted chocolate onto prepared pan making a small disk.

4. Dip balloon in melted chocolate—coating about 1/3 of the balloon. Hold over bowl to allow excess to drain.

5. Place the dipped end of the balloon on the chocolate disk.

6. Repeat with remaining chocolate and balloons.

7. Place in refrigerator to set.

8. Once the chocolate is set, deflate the balloons slowly and gently peel away from chocolate bowl.

BYU

As you know, Hayden is obsessed with BYU. He often says, "Y-U- Cougars!" This week he has started saying something new. In a more stern voice he says, B-Y-Quiet!"

HELP!

I think some of these pictures are really cute but the red eyes are horrible. Photoshop is not detecting them to fix automatically and I don't know how to edit them on my own. If you know how to do it would you please teach me?
