Finally

Parker is finally off oxygen. I am thrilled, to say the least. Hopefully he will continue to get better. I've been told his cough will last a month. I can handle that. Since I don't have to go into the hospital twice a day now I have just picked up an extra four hours a day. What shall I do with all that time?

Sleep!!!

St. Patricks Day

The Saturday before St. Patrick's Day we went the the parade down at the Gateway. It was a beautiful morning. The parade was fun but kind of weird. It was fun to see the Irish dancers and all the bagpipes. All the breweries had an entry of some sort. There were a couple of entries with really ugly dogs. It was a lot more crowded than I thought it would be.

Two Month Pictures

I just realized I never put Parker's two month pictures on here. I think we are going to have to skip his three month pictures since he is still on oxygen.

Home

We just got home from the hospital. Parker is on oxygen and we will take him to the outpatient suction clinic for a few days as needed. I am so glad to be home.

RSV

Parker has been admitted to Primary Children's Medical Center. I went to the doctor on Friday and was told I had bronchitis. Parker started coughing late Saturday night and I decided we better get him checked before we went to Las Vegas. The doctor at the Urgent Care had us come in three times on Sunday to monitor him. He then decided to send us to PCMC to get tested for RSV. After five hours in the ER it was confirmed that he did have RSV. They sent us home and told us where to take him for RSV/bronchiolitis clinics (they suction out the babies and can do breathing treatment so babies don't have to be hospitalized).

I took him for suctioning three times yesterday, the third being at 2:00am. His heart rate was way too high and his oxygen was too low. They couldn't get him to the levels they wanted so we were transported via ambulance to PCMC.

We have been here for about three hours. Parker is doing okay. He is just on oxygen he hasn't had any breathing treatments here yet but I'm sure he will. Hopefully he will get better quickly.

New Blog

I have a new blog that is about Scott. I have moved posts from this blog to the new one. I am happy to be able to have one just for him where I can find things easier and will be able to put my thoughts somewhere.

Cute Boys

Snow

Don't you love the runny nose?

Yesterday we woke up to a few inches of snow. I was happy to put Hayden in his snow clothes and let him play for a little bit. Hayden has never played "in" the snow before. Last winter he was barely a year old and I never took him out to play in the snow. He did play "with" snow one time. I put some snow in a pie tin and put him in his highchair to play.

This year we had great snow over Christmas but since I had a five day old baby and was recovering from a c-section I never took him out. We haven't had enough snow since then to play. I have been feeling bad all winter that my two year old still hadn't played in the snow. But now he has. He had a good time.

Pay it Forward Gifts

Last week I finished the gifts for those who participated in "Pay it forward." I made these clip boards. I hope those I made them for like them. I think they turned out cute.

Joe only has five more nights of class. I am so excited! I can't wait for him to come home every night. (Except now I have to start making dinner again.) Now if he could just find a new job everything would be perfect. If you know of any good jobs please let us know.

Broken Alarm Clock

Help!! My alarm clock broke! I had been doing so well getting up in the morning and working out because my alarm clock woke me up at 6:00. Now my alarm clock doesn't go off until around 8 or 8:30. If I wait until my alarm clock goes off, there isn't time to work out.

Most moms use the excuse that they were up too many times in the night and are too tired to work out. My excuse...my baby sleeps too much.

So I guess it is up to me to wake up, pump, and get on the treadmill before the boys get up.
